I had a chance to chat with the talented and prolific author about this book and the others in the Heart of the West series. Here's what Ann had to say:

It's been a long time coming--EC contracted it back in early 2004 but I've just this summer finished Jared and Ninia's story. I'm as excited about these three siblings and their takes on Dominance and submission as I can remember having been since I started on my first book eons and eons ago!

The fabulous Syneca has created perfect covers for all three books: ROPED, HITCHED and LASSOED. Hopefully, if the muse stays sharp and my fingers don't freeze up on me, I'll finish HITCHED this month. It's about Jared's big brother, BDSM dungeon master Brad. and his favorite sub who wants nothing of a 24/7 master--even if it's the hottest Dom who's ever whispered sweet orders in her ear.

Next month I'll tackle LASSOED, where big sister Nancy rejoins the lifestyle after getting away from a cruel Dom-- this time as a Domme she's determined no one will ever hurt again. The rugged rancher she lassoes is willing to play the sub for her, but when she realizes his heart's not in the game she decides she can perform a Switch.

All this is set against the breathtaking backdrop of southern Wyoming, the rough, tough land the siblings all call home.
